Student-run IQ Credit Union at Prairie High School
Prairie High School students gain real-world work experience on campus through a student-run iQ Credit Union branch. This hands-on opportunity allows students to manage a fully functioning credit union location, supported by financial literacy and business coursework. Students can participate by signing up for the financial operations course during forecasting, when they choose their classes for the following year.
Exclusively available during school hours only to students, staff and associated families, the branch offers financial education, job training and valuable career-building experience. Thanks to iQ Credit Union, the cost of remodeling the space for the branch at Prairie High School was fully covered.
