About BGVA
Battle Ground Virtual Academy is an online school serving students in grades K-12, meeting both virtually and on site. As an alternative online school as defined in the Washington Administrative Code (WAC), we follow the policies of the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI) and the Battle Ground School District Board Policies and Procedures. Our students in grades K-12 meet learning standards, including participating in required state and district assessments.
Online learning for K-12 students
- Full-time, 30 hours of learning activities per week.

- Flexible schedule, web-based curriculum using multiple vendors.
- Robust course options include core subjects (math, ELA, science and social studies) and electives from fashion design to world languages.
- Teachers and staff support students and parents with weekly consultations.
